1.5mm Freediving Lanyard

The 1.5mm Freediving Lanyard is a competition-specific lanyard built for professional athletes and designed alongside world record-setting athletes—ones who calculate every gram and millimeter of drag in their pursuit of the next meter. Now with a magnetic cuff for an ultra-quick release in emergencies, the thinnest possible cable for reduced resistance without compromising on safety, and the minimal overall dimensions for a barely-there feel while you dive. The ultra-lightweight aluminum carabiner adds minimal drag and no unnecessary weight on your ascent.

Please note: Due to the thin cable design, handle with extra care to avoid kinks or breakage. Always store coiled in a soft loop when not in use.

Magnetic quick-release cuff
A magnetic quick release on a thinner ankle/wrist cuff is easier to put on and quicker to remove than Velcro in emergencies.

Ultra-thin cable
An ultra-thin, yet reinforced, 1.5mm-thick cable with nylon coating reduces your resistance on dives, giving you improved glide at depth.

Optimal size and weight
This lanyard has the smallest dimensions of our lineup for a more compact construction and an almost invisible feel on your competition dives.

Two rotation points
Dual rotation points prevent the lanyard cable from tangling, keeping you safer underwater.

Aluminum carabiner
An ultra-lightweight aluminum carabiner adds minimal drag on your dive and avoids adding any unnecessary weight on your ascent.

Please note: Lanyards are critical piece of safety equipment. Inspect your lanyard before each dive and replace it immediately if you notice any signs of wear (weakened velcro, rusting wire, etc.).

Care Instructions

• Rinse in fresh water directly after use (to avoid rusting and corrosion).
• Allow lanyard to dry completely before storage.
• Store away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
• When storing, keep the lanyard in a loop or hang it from the carabiner to avoid creating kinks in the cable.
• Carefully inspect the lanyard before each dive; replace if you notice any signs of damage.

Warranty Policy

A 2-year limited warranty applies. Please note that defects or damage to the equipment caused by improper or incorrect use or insufficient/improper maintenance and product care will render our warranty policy null and void.

Production Time

If the product is currently in stock, it will be sent out to you within 2–5 business days. If the product is out of stock, we’ll contact you by e-mail to inform you about possible delays. If you order this product along with another product that has a longer production time, your entire order will be shipped with all of the items together once the product with the longest production time is ready.
