Molchanovs athletes took the 2025 CMAS World Championship Indoor by storm, setting 3 new absolute world records and taking home 10 medals.

We want to take a special moment to recognize them for their tireless dedication to training and excellence. Qualifying for the World Championships is no easy feat, and we at Molchanovs are honored to support them on their journeys to greatness.

Julia Kozerska - Poland

Since the beginning of her freediving journey in 2011, Julia has truly made a name for herself in the pool with nine world records in DNF. She’s also a 12x World and European Champion and a 9x World Vice-Champion.

Heike Schwerdtner - Germany

Heike Schwerdtner holds a special place in freediving history as the woman who broke Natalia Molchanova’s 11-year-old STA record of 9:02 when she held her breath for 9:07 at the 32nd AIDA Pool Championship in Kaunas, Lithuania. On May 4, 2025, Heike beat her own record at the “Stockholm Apnea AIDA STA Wars - CO₂ Strikes Back” event in Stockholm, setting a new world record of an incredible 9 minutes 22 seconds.

Mikhail Briantsev - International

Mikhail has been competing in freediving since 2017. After setting multiple national records in the pool, he went on to become Vice-Champion in DYN and DYNB at the 30th AIDA World Championship in 2023 and is also is a European Champion and Molchanovs instructor.

Abdulmajeed Alsafi - Saudi Arabia
Abdulmajeed is the world’s youngest and deepest 15-year-old! His personal bests include CWTB to 88m (289ft), 70m (230ft) in FIM, and 50m (164ft) in CNF.

Elias Amr Mamdouh - Egypt
16-year-old Elias holds Junior CMAS National Records in DYNB to 124.5m (408ft) and 82m (269ft) in DNF. His main goal is to be the world’s first Junior to break the 200m (656ft) mark in DYN!
