AIDA Hydro Dynamic 2024 Sees 2 New National Records
The Hydro Dynamic pool competition is held in the suburbs of Vienna, central to many European countries. BSFZ Südstadt’s pool in Maria Enzersdorf allows nearly 50 athletes to compete in a shallow 31°C (87.8°F) pool for STA and a 50m pool with a constant depth of 2m for DNF, DYN, and DYNB. The world-record-status competition also serves as the Austrian Championship for DYN and DYNB.

Howe Deep AIDA Freediving Depth Competition Sees 2 New AIDA Canada Provincial Records
Six women and nine men representing Canada, the United States, China, and the United Kingdom gathered at Howe Sound in West Vancouver, Canada, for the seventh edition of the Howe Deep Competition. Seven of the 15 competitors were competing for the first time.

The two-day competition, hosted by Oceanoid, takes place on a dive platform anchored in 200m (656ft) of water just 500m (0.3mi) from the shore. Competitors enter the water at a nearby beach and swim to the competition area, and spectators are welcome to watch the event.
