The SPORT Modular Monofin Blade Carbon is for freedivers who already own SPORT Silicone Foot Pockets or SPORT Bifins and want to add full-size monofin performance to their setup. A carbon blade with a 28° foot pocket angle delivers genuine efficiency in both pool and open water, attaching directly to your existing SPORT Silicone Foot Pockets so you can switch between monofin and bifins training without buying a second pair. Available in soft and medium stiffness.

Please note: This product includes the blade only. SPORT Silicone Foot Pockets are sold separately and required for assembly.

These instructions are for assembling the SPORT Silicone Foot Pockets to the SPORT Modular Monofin Blade Carbon. 

Required Materials for Assembly

  • Molchanovs SPORT Modular Monofin Blade Carbon
  • Left and right SPORT Silicone Foot Pockets (sold separately)
  • 2 screws for each foot pocket (4 total)
  • Carbon reinforcement plate
  • Phillips head screwdriver

Assembly Instructions

  1. Match the left and right foot pocket with the corresponding blade (marked on the back side of each blade).
  2. Insert the blade gently into the slot at the front of the foot pocket and through the side reinforcements. Verify it slides in smoothly without force.
  3. Carefully adjust the blade's position until the mounting holes on the blade align with those on the foot pockets.
  4. Position the upper mounting plate over the toe section of the foot pocket, verifying it fits into the provided space.
  5. Begin hand-threading the screws into the holes of the lower mounting plate.
  6. Place the lower mounting plate over the blade, aligning it with the upper mounting plate and the holes. Tighten the screws clockwise using a Phillips head screwdriver, applying even pressure.

Caution: Secure the screws firmly but avoid over-tightening, which could strip the threads or damage the blade. Stop when you feel moderate resistance.

Final check: Make sure the blade is not loose and the foot pockets are securely attached. Test by gently flexing the blade and inserting your feet to confirm stability before entering the water.

Care Instructions

  • Rinse the blade thoroughly in fresh water after every use to remove salt, chlorine, or sand. Do not use hot water, detergents, or aggressive cleaning agents.
  • Dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Do not dry in direct sunlight, near heat sources, or in a clothes dryer.
  • Store the blade flat in a cool, dry place. Do not bend it or store it upright in a position that could warp its shape.
  • Avoid contact with sharp objects, which can scratch or cut the carbon blade.
  • Do not walk on land or rocky surfaces while wearing the assembled monofin.
  • Do not place heavy objects on top of the blade and avoid stepping on it.
  • Do not leave the blade in a hot car, as heat can damage the carbon blade.
  • If sand or dirt gets between parts during use, disassemble, rinse, and reassemble before your next session.
  • Inspect the assembly hardware regularly for wear. Replace parts if damaged.
  • For transport, use a padded monofin bag to protect against impacts and scratches.

A 2-year limited warranty applies. Please note that defects or damage to the equipment caused by improper or incorrect use or insufficient/improper maintenance and product care will render our warranty policy null and void.

Production Time

If the product is currently in stock, it will be sent out to you within 2–5 business days. If the product is out of stock, we will contact you by e-mail to inform you about possible delays. If you order this product along with another product that has a longer production time, your entire order will be shipped with all of the items together once the product with the longest production time is ready.
